How Suite It Is |

The Bath Priory
Nestled among four acres of mature award-winning gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city. This Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk-through Royal Victoria Park to Bath’s city centre.
Built in 1835 as a private residence on land once owned by The Priory of Bath Abbey, the venue with its architecturally Gothic characteristics is discreetly situated on a tree-lined residential road on the west side of the city of Bath. Sublime cuisine and the finest wines blend with luxurious guest rooms and a breathtaking setting. From intimate dinner celebrations, to lavish banquet-style wedding breakfasts, The Bath Priory offers everything you need for a stylish wedding.
Several rooms and parts of the gardens are licensed for civil ceremonies. Choose from the lavish The Priory restaurant or Terrace Room. In warmer months exchange vows in the vibrant garden, where you can opt to say “I do” in the picturesque Breeze House or in the kitchen gardens’ Dovecote. Limited numbers apply with a maximum of 27 guests.
Should you prefer to have a traditional church wedding ceremony, the venue’s wedding breakfast is the perfect way to celebrate with family and friends. Savour a four-course meal in the award-winning restaurant with wines specially selected by the sommelier to complement your menu. The restaurant can be enjoyed exclusively for up to 72 guests. Alternatively, the Terrace overlooking the garden can host up to 27 nearest and dearest.
Each of the 33 luxurious guest rooms and suites offer comfort and style, decorated with period furniture and complemented by contemporary bathrooms. With many of these indulgent spaces commanding views over the award-winning gardens, the venue is a calm sanctuary for you and your loved ones. The Garden Spa offers a further indulgent haven, with pampering treatments and a relaxing atmosphere.
